Indian Cultural Centre in coordination with the Embassy of India, Qatar celebrated Ayurveda Day themed “Ayurveda for Healthier Tomorrow” on Wednesday, 23rd September 2026 at ICC Ashoka Hall. The programme highlighted the significance of Ayurveda and its relevance in promoting holistic health, healthy living and environmental sustainability. A special session was conducted by Dr. Fazeeha Ashkar explaining the importance of Ayurveda in Day-to-Day life, its benefits and deep-rooted philosophy.

Dr. Vaibhav A. Tandale, Counsellor (Head of Chancery and Consular), Embassy of India was the Chief Guest of the Evening. ICC President Mr. A.P. Manikantan then delivered the presidential address. The event was graced by ICC Advisory Council Chairman Mr. P N Babu Rajan, ICC Vice President Mr. Shantanu Deshpande, ICC General Secretary Mr. Abraham K. Joseph, presidents of associated organizations, and senior members of the Indian community. The event was attended by around 200 members of the Indian diaspora, reflecting the community's interest in Ayurveda and its relevance to healthy and sustainable living.
